About the Department :
The department was started in the year 1997, with an intake of 60 students offering diploma in Computer Science & Engg., In these years of academic services, the department has grown up steadily.Computer Science and Engineering branch imparts education in hardware and software relating to computer which is an integral part of all processing in almost all fields. For the three years they study variety of subjects which make them industry ready.
Prospects
On Completion of Three years of Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering the Students have following Opportunities:
- Can Continue higher education like B.E.by taking admission directly to 3rd Semester BBA and BCA.
- Can have placements in Govt and Semi Govt.,Public and Private Sectors as Technical Enginnering in Hardware and Software
- Can work as programmers in Banking Sector,Technical and Non Technical Colleges and As Software Engineers in National And Multinational Companies can be posted as System and database administrators and Hardware Engineers in the fields of Servicing Sector.

- The department has talented students with both technical and soft skill sets. Every semester training will be given to all the student's which includes technical, aptitude, logical reasoning, Group Discussions, soft skills for personal interview. Wipro , Tata Consultancy, Dell, , HCL companies.
INDUSTRY INTERACTION / MOU
- The Department has a Separate Industry Institute Interaction Cell and has MOU's with the various industries in benefit of students in Arranging the Guest Lectures, Student Projects & Industrial Visits.
